Chenna Masala
Ingredients:
- White chenna 100grams(soak it for 10 hrs and then pressure cook it with some salt for 5 whistles)
- Tomato - 3no(boil it, remove the skin and grind it in mixie)
- Onion(big) 1no(just cut into big pieces n grind it coarsely in mixie separately)
- Cinnamon, cloves-little bit
- Ginger garlic paste(g.g paste) -1 table spoon
- Chilli powder – ½ table spoon or as u wish
- Oil – 10 ml i.e 1 big spoon
Method:
Take a tawa, add oil, then add cinnamon n cloves, then add g. g paste and then add onion n fry for some time then add tomato puree and then add cooked chenna and add little salt for gravy and add chilli powder. Leave it for 10 min till the gravy becomes a little thick. If u wish u can add garam masala too at the last stage n finally add some coriander leaves and switch off the stove.
Vegetable Kuruma (without coconut)
Ingredients:
- Carrot, beans, cauliflower(cut into cubes and cook it with a little salt) -1 cup
- Tomato-3no cut it into small cubes
- Onion (big) -2 chop it finely
- g.g paste – 1 table spoon
- coriander powder – 2 table spoon
- chilli powder – 1 table spoon
- turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
- garam masala ½ teaspoon
- salt – as required
- oil – 1 table spoon
Method:
Take a tawa, add oil, mustard seeds, then add g.g paste, onion and after it becomes golden add tomato and finely mash it using the spoon and then add a bit water and then add cooked veggies and add chilli powder, coriander powder ,salt ,turmeric powder n mix well .
Leave it till it becomes thick, finally add garam masala and off the stove
Mushroom Masala
Ingredients
- Mushroom ½ packet – cut each mushroom into 4 pieces
- Tomato -3 (chop 2 tomatoes, keep another aside)
- Onion-2(cut 1 ½ onion, keep ½ onion aside)
- Green chilli -1 0r 2(it s used for 12th ingredient)
- g.g paste – 1 table spoon
- coriander powder – 2 table spoon
- chilli powder – 1/2 table spoon
- turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
- garam masala ½ teaspoon
- 10. Salt – as required
- 11. Oil – 1 table spoon
- 12. Tomato onion puree(take the remn tomato,onion,2 green chillies and grind in mixer, no need to add water)
Method:
heat oil, add onion ,fry it, add g.g paste, add tomato then add chopped mushroom and fry for few seconds and add 12th ingredient and leave for 2 min, then add cori pdr, chilli pdr, tur pdr,salt and sprinkle little water,as water inside the mushroom oozes out.if the mush room s cooked finally add garam masala and coriander leaves.
